Modules

These teaching modules were prepared for university and college courses.

They contain children’s Holocaust testimonies collected in the immediate aftermath of the Holocaust. Provided are background materials and analytic tools to enable the students and the instructor to explore together the historical, literary and linguistic aspects of the testimonies and through them the experience of children in the Holocaust.

They were developed by a multi-disciplinary team: Rita Horvath, Boaz Cohen, Joel Walters and Keren Goldfrad, in the framework of “Voices of Child Survivors: Children’s Holocaust Testimonies” project that was supported by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany from 2007 until 2009, Bar-Ilan University, Israel
