Abstract

Search as part of rehabilitating children was then and is until today of crucial importance to survivors of war and genocide. Also the issue of reuniting families is of timeless importance. This paper describes the innovations made after WW2 with regards to Jewish and non-Jewish children and contextualizes these efforts into the broader framework of the aftermath period.
